The problem... There are 285 million visually impaired people around the world. Up to 80% of visual impairment and blindness in adults is preventable or treatable through early detection and treatment.
What if... People were knew how easy it was to prevent eye diseases and blindness? To raise awareness and funds for eye exams all over the world, we takeover Instagram for 24 hours and replace the beloved filters with ones that show eye diseases.
Enter #visionforall... We live in an increasingly visual culture. There are over 300 million Instagrammers. 70 million photos and videos are shared each day. 70% of Instagram users check it at least once a day. As of 2014, 16 billion photos have been uploaded to Instagram. Instagram is the ideal platform to have the most reach with our eye health message and fund raising campaign.
